This Surface Mount Ceiling Frame is perfect to mount our LEDPanelStore LED Panel Lights in locations without suspended ceiling grid (e.g. plasterboard ceilings) . Surface mount kits are ideal for offices, schools, hospitals etc. where recessed mounting is not possible.
The kit screws to the ceiling. The panel is then slid in, and the remaining side then screws on to complete the installation.
The frame has sufficient depth to accommodate the LED driver / emergency pack. (these should be placed in the centre of the panel to allow good heat dissipation)

Light weight aluminium, powder coated. No corrosion, looks great. Needs careful fitting to keep it square and if attaching directly to ceiling, best to use plasterboard anchors.

good product - for its actual purpose I'm sure it is fine - for my purposes -light box to display artwork the panels are a little loose when positioned inside - the slots holding the panel in place only run along the side bars not on the ends which means the panel has some movement in it.
