Set of 4 steel spring clips for use with our LEDPanelStore ultra slim LED panel lights allowing the panel to be mounted in to plasterboard.
Ideal for situations when there isn't space for surface mounting boxes and suspension is not possible.
PLEASE ENSURE THE PLASTERBOARD IS IN GOOD CONDITION BEFORE USING SPRING CLIPS

- Well made, suited to the task. The springs are very strong though, so be carful when installing to plasterboard. The springs can be eased off a bit by fully opening the clip and folding back in itselfwhich stretches the spring and reduces the clamping force a bit.Collected via eKomi
- Allows simple fitting with minimal standout from surface mounted on. They do require at least a small penetration for each clip, which will impact fire resistance of that surface if in plaster board ceiling. 2 clips / panel seem fine for 300x300mm panels.Collected via eKomi

- The springs were too strong. Attempting to straighten the clips,into a vertical position, would bend the small bracket. In the end I drilled the frame, through the chanel holding the captive nuts, and screwed it to the ceiling with rawplugs. I noticed some reviews suggested that the springs were not strong enough. - Sounded a good idea despite the preparation required. However, the clips are FAR too strong for the job and bend the support brackets supplied. I contacted Customer support on 5/517 but was told they were the only clips available. I was told they would get back to me on 8/5/17, but didn't. I emailed them on 11/5/17 requesting a surface mounting kit instead - but again have had no response. I definitely would not recommend this product and, from their lack of response, would not recommend LED Panel store as a supplier.Collected via eKomi
